Montezuma Ball

2017 Montezuma Ball
Benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico

The Montezuma Ball has been a tradition in Albuqueruqe since 1902 and is now a much-anticipated annual event. Having a unique tale of its own, this prestigious ball first began in 1902 as part of the Territorial Fairs. Highlights of the first ball include white Shetland ponies escorting the Queen into the ball and a feathered float that held the King. The Montezuma Ball was revived in 2000 raising funds for various worthwhile charties.

Congratulations Bruce and Sandy Seligman, 2017 Montezuma Ball King and Queen.
