How will you be celebrating the holidays this year? How thankful are you for the blessings that you have, the family that loves you and the quality of your life? I’m guessing, like me, you are very thankful. Yes, we all have our own set of challenges but I think you would agree, many are not as fortunate as you and me, especially local families with children.
Approximately 70% of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico members are from low-income families and 51% are from single-parent households. These kids want nothing more than a happy life and a chance for a great future. Most of our kids struggle with simple pleasures that you and I take for granted. They want to feel wanted. They dream to be “someone”. They long to be part of something good.
At Boys & Girls Clubs, our goal is to provide a safe environment for our kids. Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Our success stories are vast because of people like you.
In the spirit of love this holiday season we ask that you give, even if just a little to help us serve our Central New Mexico youth. Great futures start here.
