After School Programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico offers excellent after school programs, led by professionally trained employees, that will give your kids the skills they need to excel in school and in life.

In addition to receiving help with their homework, kids will enjoy featured programs including:

Fun and engaging STEM based programming that will help kids excel in school and prepare them for their future careers.

Character & Leadership

Empowering programs that enable kids to make a difference in both their Club and community while learning to respect their own and others’ cultural identities, develop a positive self-image and make life long friends along the way.

Health & Life Skills

Programs that encourage kids to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.

The Arts

Kids have the opportunity to develop their creativity and explore their cultural awareness while participating in visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing programs.

Transportation to the Clubs is available from the following locations:

Albuquerque Schools:

Transportation Fees: $30 per child per month; $15 for each additional child
Fees are due on the 1st of every month

About

Since 1952, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico (BGCCNM) has provided at-risk children, between the ages of 5 and 18, with a safe place to learn and grow. Currently the Club serves over 2,500 children in its Albuquerque and Rio Rancho Clubs, providing them with state-of-the-art programing administered by highly trained staff. Club members learn leadership skills, explore career opportunities, and become healthy individuals who are ready to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.
